Hello. 20 seconds to me.

I wish I had a cool nickname, yet I've only been given "Muffin Man"; at least it is unique. In summary, I live in Australia (Sydney), where I work full-time as a systems engineer, specifically on NMS'. Previously, I used to live in Taiwan (Taipei) for a year and a half, and New Zealand before that. My father is from New Zealand and my mum from the States. Consequently, I'm nearly addicted to traveling; yet I still believe career development is crucial.

During the day I maintain the systems that monitor a fairly large and diverse network. When night hits, I kick off the shoes, swap hats, and often write a little code. I play with Python and Django for fun. I'm also a growing fan of all things GIS (huh?)

My girlfriend luckily makes sure I get out and don't just work/study/read all week... phew. We are currently studying French together, and always plotting the next holiday overseas. Yes, one could consider me quite lucky.
